Hi Guys,  A handful of new cars and sets from Scalextric just arrived:

Spectacular full feature (lights, full interior, DPR) Corvette C6R GT2 Larbre Competition with McDonald’s sponsor.  C3288 $52.99 and in stock.

Gotta love those LMPs.  This is yet another Lola Aston Martin.  This one bearing the Muscle Milk sponsorship C3291, full feature $52.99 and in stock.Taking a page from the Carrera American Muscle Car book, Scalextric put a blower on their 1969 Dodge
Charger and gave it a new paint job.  Full feature C3317.

This Mini is from a new mold for Scalextric.  This is a Mini Countryman WRC.  C33285, DPR not full feature.  $42.99 and in stock.  

Lastly a new livery for the high impact Audi R8GT3.  This is the KK performance car, C3279 DPR, not full feature and in stock.

In the set department, Scalextric has updated their largest Start set with two F1 type bodies.  This set makes 8 different layouts and comes with two F1 style bodies you decorate (stickers supplied) yourself.

History

The Targa New Zealand is a tarmac rally held every year on the roads of New Zealand’s North Island.  The six-day main event takes place in October along around 1500 km of touring and 750 km of closed special stages.

This Nissan GT-R R35 Stillen, driven by Steve Millen alongside co-driver Philip Adamson, is capable of 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds, 0-130mph in 11.4 seconds and has a top speed just short of 200mph

The Super Sport version is the fastest road-legal production car in the world, with a top speed of 431 km/h (268mph). The original version has a top speed of 408km/h (253.52 mph). It was named Car of the Decade (2000-2009) by the BBC television program Top Gear. The car is named after the French racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Man in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti company.  This is a non-catalog set with an extended figure eight layout.
